so as i said yesterday... last night was TARDIS night. i worked approximately an hour on it and was super excited about my progress. then i realized it was too wide. UGHHHH!!!! after staring at it for about 15 min in the hopes that it would magically shrink, i had to rip it all out and start again. NOW it is the right width and i have made it back to this point.
the pic isn't much to look at right now. looks pretty plain jane and grandma huh? well, after much ado i have figured out that the best way to do the rug is to make this 'base' which is just color blocked basically. then i will go back over the top of it and add in all the texture details, embroidery, etc. sooooo... as i work along on it, you'll get to see a pretty amazing (hopefully) transformation! :)
did you see the tape measure???? i'm pretty proud that it is RIGHT on 2' wide! :)
